Timorous Beasties Edinburgh Toile Wallpaper
Product Code: TB1568
The Timorous Beasties Edinburgh toile was featured on the cover of an Edinburgh Festival 2009 brochure which proved controversial but was referred to by the organizers as ‘an affectionate, frank and honest vision of modern Edinburgh’. Including elements of the iconic buildings of Edinburgh and historical figures, it also featured tartan tourist shops, people going about their business, fast food caravans, homeless people, and modern housing developments. This clever modern play on a traditional décor inspired by 18th Century decorative chinioserie and toiles de jouey patterns is a firm favourite with the design community.
Pattern repeat 40.3cm (style half drop)
