Gubi Grossman Cobra Floor Lamp
Product Code: GU0148
Brass and powder coated steel floor lamp.
A true icon of mid-century design, the striking Cobra lamp collection was first created in the 1950s by Swedish architect, Greta Grossman.
Featuring a cobra-shaped lampshade, the Cobra Floor Lamp is ideal for classic and contemporary spaces alike.
As commanding as the hooded cobra, the distinctive lampshade is sculpted from robust powder-coated steel and aluminium.
Available in a choice of colours, the lamp can be tilted backward and the elongated aluminium conical shade is ball-jointed onto the arm of the base, so the light can be directional, yet the glare is minimal.
Taking its form from the shape of a Cobra snake's neck, the tubular arm bends in all directions and the shade can be rotated 360º.
The base completes the design, covered in powder-coated aluminium and weighted with a cast iron ballast.
Light source: 1 x E14 9W Max Compact Fluorescent or 1 x E14 28W Max Halogen (bulbs not included).
Cord length: 2.3m approx.
