DCW Editions Here Comes The Sun Pendant Light Black/White
Product Code: DC0652
Sculptural pendant light with black and white aluminium finish.
Bring the sculptural serenity of the DCW Editions Here Comes The Sun Pendant Light Black/White into your home interior space.
Inspired by the symbolism of the rising sun, this remarkable sculptural suspension pendant light was first designed during the 1970s by French architect Bertrand Balas.
Highly sought after by French design collectors, this new interpretation celebrates an artistic modernity with a distinctive spliced sphere aesthetic.
Suspended from a black textile cable, the top of the lamp features a black satin finish with matt white inner which takes the shape of a toadstool mushroom.
Then, tapering into a central core, the unique fitting joins to an accenting black satin pendant bowl.
Channelling a radiant illumination once lit, the name of the lamp surprisingly derives from the iconic rock band, The Beatles.
First created when Beatlemania took the world by storm, Balas took the name from George Harrison’s iconic song, ‘Here Comes The Sun’.
Use alone or for maximum visual impact, create a clustered formation to create a commanding focal point in the heart of your design scheme.
Black textile 3m suspension cable included with white ceiling rose.
Light source: Requires 1x 40W Max LED or Cl11-E14-ESL 11W Max (bulb not included)
